Welcome

Lily Inspired is the art therapy practice of Lauren Harms.
The goal of Lily Inspired is to empower individuals & communities to explore growth and healing through creativity. Services include individual art therapy, group art therapy & expressive arts workshops.
I am a professional art therapist under the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA), and am building my experience in order to become a Registered Art Therapist. I have completed a Dual Diploma in Art Therapy and Expressive Arts Facilitation at Winnipeg Holistic Expressive Arts Therapy Institute (WHEAT) in February 2021.

What is Art Therapy?
Art therapy combines creative process and psychotherapy, encouraging self-exploration and understanding. The process is as valuable as the result—artistic experience or skill are not required.
Art therapy uses images, colour and shapes to explore thoughts and feelings that would otherwise be difficult to articulate.

My Approach
My approach is person-centered, allowing you to initiate and lead your healing journey. I witness that journey and hold space for your creativity.
My practice is trauma-informed, embodied, and integrates focusing techniques. I strive to decolonize my practice and be mindful of each person’s cultural and spiritual
background.
